About us

WHO WE ARE

Old time Florida seafood restaurant with sweeping ocean views.

Occupying a majestic site on a bluff just fifty yards from the Atlantic Ocean, the SeaWatch, since 1974, offers incomparable views of the shore framed by scores of swaying coconut palms and sand dunes spotted with natural sea grasses.
During the past several decades, almost ten million guests have thronged through the solid core oak door, complete with port hole and heavy brass hatchway hinges, to enjoy the moment and perhaps relive special moments of the past.

HISTORY

The SeaWatch remains a magical, almost surreal experience. Come visit the present, come visit the past. Come visit three acres of unspoiled Atlantic beach and confirm to yourself why the SeaWatch remains Fort Lauderdale’s most popular seafood restaurant!

Here the sand meets the surf. The vast domain of the Atlantic Ocean blends with the post and beam design, rugged planting and marine breath of this special sea side dining place. In ancient days the beaches knew only of swirling gulls and lumbering turtles. An occasional Spanish galleon passed by on the Caribbean blue horizon. Join us in a toast to those gentle days. The SeaWatch is your connection to the past and present. It exists for all to enjoy.
